Terms of Service

By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Rumo.

Rumo is a tool that lets a personal trainer build training and nutrition plans and lets their students follow them, log their sessions and report back.

We provide the software. We do not provide the coaching. The training you receive, its quality and its suitability for you are between you and your coach; Rumo is not a party to that relationship and does not supervise it.

• You must be at least 16, or have a parent or guardian set up and supervise the account.
• Give accurate information — especially health information, which your coach will use to decide what you should be doing.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person.

Coaching accounts can see health data about real people: medical conditions, medication, injuries, body measurements and photographs of their bodies. That access comes with obligations, and accepting these terms means accepting them.

• Use a student’s health data only to plan and adapt that student’s training. Nothing else.
• Do not show it, forward it, export it or discuss it with anyone who is not involved in that student’s coaching.
• Keep your account secure, and do not let anyone else use it.
• If a student asks you to correct or delete something you wrote about them, do it, or tell us.
• When a student leaves you, stop using their data.

A student who withdraws consent has their health data deleted. You may lose information you were relying on, and that is the correct outcome — it was theirs, not yours.

If you invite students, you are responsible for inviting people who actually agreed to be invited.

Your plans, notes, measurements and photographs remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them to the people who are supposed to see them.

We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

Rumo is a fitness tool. Nothing in it — not a plan, not a meal plan, not a note from your coach — is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and your coach is not acting as a healthcare professional unless they separately tell you they are and are qualified to.

Talk to a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury, or are taking medication. If something hurts, stop. If it is serious, get medical help — do not wait to log it here.

• Access data belonging to someone who is not your student or your coach.
• Probe, scrape, or try to break the service.
• Upload anything illegal, or anyone else’s photographs without their agreement.
• Impersonate another person.
• Resell or rebrand the service without a written agreement with us.

We try to keep the service running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may change or remove features; if a change removes something you depend on, we will say so in advance where we can.

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other people’s data at risk. Where it is reasonable to warn you first, we will.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from training you do, from advice your coach gives you, or from data you lose because you deleted it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes go to the Portuguese courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring a claim where you live, and you may use an alternative dispute resolution body.

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes and we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not accept, you can delete your account and take your data with you.
